TSN is excited to announce Ugadi Vedukalu on April 25^th 2026! 

This festive occasion will be a wonderful opportunity for our Telugu community to come together, celebrate our rich cultural heritage, enjoy our traditions, and support our kids in expressing their creativity and share the spirit of festivals.

General Guidelines for Event:

1. All participants must be holding an activeTSN membership (annual or lifetime) by April 1st 2026 to perform in Ugadi Cultural Event.

3. Pls join TSN communications WhatsAppfor Events and Notifications.
4. Additionally, to ensure the facility is maintained properly, a $100 cash will be collected in advance as security deposit per team. Any remaining amount post cleaning charges will be refunded equally.

Key Dates to be noted: 

1. Ugadi Vedukalu  – April 25^th 2026
2. Final Rehearsal – April 24^th 2026
3. Cultural Registration open – February 27^th 2026
4. Cultural Registration ends – March 1^st 2026
5. Modification of Submitted Entries – March 22nd 2026
6. Last Day for Audio Submission – March 29^th 2026

 Cultural Program Guidelines: 

1. To ensure a smooth and well-organized program, participants are allowed to register in only ONE category meaning either Classical or Non-Classical dance or Telugu Naatikalu.
2. Categories include only Classical, Non-Classical dance and Telugu Naatikalu.
3. TSN reserves the right to cancel the registered program if requirements are not met.

Program Entry Guidelines: 

1. Each performance must have at least 8 participants. Solo performances are not allowed.
2. Participants must be at least 6 years or older by April 1^st 2026.
3. Programs need to be registered with all the details specified in the registration form.

Songs Selection Guidelines:

1. Song selection is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limit of 3 songs per group.
2. For non-classical dance entries, if you choose to include a latest song (from a movie released on/after January 1, 2024 ), you may select only one such latest song; the other two must be from movies released before this date, with no song repetition.
3. Please ensure your song is not already taken before registration.
4. For Classical dance entries, movie songs are encouraged for better audience engagement.

Time Limits:

Classical – 8 minutes

Non-Classical – 4 minutes

Telugu Naatikalu - 4 minutes

Choreographer Guidelines:

1. Choreographers and Coordinators are responsible to ensure that all participants are holding active TSN membership. (Membership Link given here:  http://telugusamiti.org/membership)
2. Coordinators/Choreographers are limited to two program submissions, with no duplicate participant entries.
