TSN is excited to announce Ugadi Vedukalu on March 22nd, 2025!
నెబ్రాస్కా తెలుగు సమితి మార్చి 22, 2025న ఉగాది వేడుకలను ప్రకటించడానికి సంతోషిస్తోంది!
This festive occasion will be a wonderful opportunity for our Telugu community to come together, celebrate our rich cultural heritage, enjoy our traditions, and support our kids in expressing their creativity and share the spirit of festivals.
ఈ పండుగ సందర్భం మన తెలుగు సమాజం కలిసి రావడానికి, మన గొప్ప సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని జరుపుకోవడానికి, మన సంప్రదాయాలను ఆస్వాదించడానికి మరియు మన పిల్లలు తమ సృజనాత్మకతను వ్యక్తపరచడంలో మరియు పండుగల స్ఫూర్తిని పంచుకోవడంలో మద్దతు ఇవ్వడానికి ఒక అద్భుతమైన అవకాశంగా ఉంటుంది.
General Guidelines For Event:
- All participants must be holding an active TSN membership (annual or lifetime) by March 7th, 2025 to perform in the Ugadi Cultural Event.
- Kindly note that, starting this year, the TSN Anual membership fee will be $35.
- TSN Annual Membership holds validity from January to December of the Financial Year. Membership taken at any time of the year will still be valid until the end of December of that same year.

Key Dates to be noted:
- Ugadi Vedukalu – March 22nd, 2025
- Final Rehearsal – March 21st, 2025
- Guidelines and Details – January 24th, 2025
- Cultural Registration on– January 31st, 2025
- Modification of Submitted Entries – February 28th, 2025
- Last Day for Audio Submission – March 1st, 2025
- Games & Activities – will send separate communications.
- Program Review before rehearsal – (contact cultural secretary)
Cultural Program Guidelines:
We are working to improve previous formats, kindly request you to avoid any misunderstandings of unclear rules. TSN Cultural team will be happy to assist you in ensuring the event runs smoothly.
- Program confirmation is based on performance scrutiny (happens prior to rehearsal), not on a first-come, first-served basis. (For Details, please contact Cultural Secretary)
- Categories include classical performances, dance numbers, and drama/skits.
- TSN reserves the right to cancel the registered program if requirements are not met.
Program Entry Guidelines:
- Each performance must have at least 6 participants. Solo performances are not permitted.
- Participants must be at least 6 years or older by March 20th, 2025.
- Children aged 3 to 6 years can join a fashion show with Moms.
- Programs need to be registered with all the details specified in the registration form.
- Participants can register for one entry each in both Classical and Non-Classical categories.
Songs Selection Guidelines:
- Song selection is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- For a Non-Classical Entry, at least one song (or more) should be from the year 2005 or earlier. Maximum of two songs can be selected from the years 2015 to the present.
- Song repetitions are strictly not encouraged for any dance entry.
- Please ensure your song is not already taken before registration.
- For any Classical Dance entry, we recommend picking movie songs so that the audience can also engage.
Time Limits:
- Non-Classical performances are limited to 4 minutes, while Classical performances and Skits/Dramas can be up to 8 minutes.
Choreographer Guidelines:
- Choreographers and Coordinators are responsible to ensure that all participants are holding active TSN membership. (Membership Link given here: http://telugusamiti.org/membership)
- Coordinators / Choreographers may submit a maximum of two programs. Please avoid registering multiple entries with different names under the same choreographer.
