Registrations should comply by the set rules and guidelines. TSN reserves the right to cancel/reject the registered program if requirements are not met.
- Rules for all the Entries:
- All choreographers must be members of TSN to register an entree. Additionally, choreographers are responsible to ensure that all participants are members of TSN.
- A choreographer can only submit one entry.
- Choreographer and all participants must have TSN membership. (The program slot is not allotted without the membership.)
- TSN reserves the right to cancel the registered program if requirements are not met.

- Age & Participation details:
- Minimum age requirement for participation in any of the programs is 5 years.
- Kids between ages 3 to 5 yrs can register to participate in a fashion show organized by TSN.
- For all classical Performances, the minimum number of participants per program is 2.
- For age 13 years and below, the minimum number of participants for each program is 4.
- For age 14 years and above, the minimum number of participants for each program is 3.
- Note: The group should have more than 50% of the participants who are 14 years and above.
- No solo performances are allowed. No Solo Singing entries allowed. No Instrumental entries allowed.
- Song Details:
- Songs for the dances are a first come first serve basis.
- No repetition of songs is allowed.
- However, we will make an exception for allowing a song repetition once. If the song is already chosen by a group that has more than 50% of kids in ages below 9 years and the same song is requested by a group that has more than 50% of kids at the age of 14 and above, the song will be accepted.
- Allowing a song repetition is at the discretion of the cultural team.
- While reserving your songs, groups performing for a single song are only allowed to block one song of their choice, while groups performing medley can block a maximum of 2 songs.
- Audio files are not allowed to update once registered. And make sure songs are not duplicated before submission.
- Time limit:
- All entries have a maximum time limit of 4 minutes, with an exception for
- Classical performances which can be up to a maximum of 10 minutes.
- Note: 10 mins will be provided to each Classical dance teacher in Omaha or Lincoln, within this time frame you may choose to present 1 or 2 dance performances.
- Skits or Drama which can be up to a maximum of 15 minutes.
- No solo performances are allowed
- Classical performances which can be up to a maximum of 10 minutes.

- Registration & confirmation:
- Please register your entry using the link in the respective event email
- We request you to check the link before and after your registration to check the songs that are already taken.
- This list will be updated dynamically as you submit the form.
- If one or both of your songs are already registered with an earlier timestamp please resubmit the form with new songs.
- Note: You will receive a confirmation email immediately following the submission of your entry. That is to confirm that your form got submitted successfully, not as song confirmation. You will receive another confirmation e-mail about your songs within 24 to 48 hrs. In case you haven’t received the confirmation email in the mentioned time frame, please let us know via an email to culturalsec@telugusamiti.org
- **Note : Audio Files must be submitted through email by specified date in email. Audio files submitted entries are only qualified for performances.
- For fashion show please Email Mom and kid Names to culturalsec@telugusamiti.org
- Expect calls about event registrations / confirmations/ queries after 5 PM during the business days.
- Entry Validation:
- Entries sent through phone calls, by word of mouth or via email will not be considered.
- Note: Any changes in participants or songs and decisions to withdraw your entry for any reason must be communicated to us.
- Performance categories & Multiple Performances:
- Classical performances.
- Dance items (Movie songs including Medley or Folk songs).
- Drama/Skits.
- A Performer cannot participate in more than 2 programs. Additionally, performers are limited to participate only in one program per category mentioned above.
- If Participants are in more than one entry, please make sure you mention the other Item they are performing with the name of their other item. Ask your participants beforehand about being in multiple entries and ask their item’s name and Choreographer’s name. This will help minimize conflict at the time of scheduling.
- Failure to inform may end up in entries scheduled back to back for that particular
- Rehearsal & Program sequence:
- A mandatory rehearsal will be offered a day before the actual program. Details for the rehearsal will be provided to the participants in a follow-up email. The rehearsal will help TSN Cultural committee to better coordinate the event.
- The program sequence will be decided by TSN Cultural Committee, based on Age and performance Category. Specific time slot requests will not be entertained.
- Participants are expected to be present for the entire time of the Event.
- Participants performing Classical and one more entry would be given flexible time slots to accommodate their costume change time.
- Note: Please do not email us with time-specific requests. TSN reserves all rights to make the final decision.
- We only have limited slots for classical performances and skits, all entries will be based on first come first serve basis. So please send your entries as soon as possible.
- If anyone interested to perform other than the above-mentioned categories please contact Cultural Secretary via email.
- TSN Cultural Team assures to provide the best verdict to accept each individual entry.
- Pre-approval of your item by the TSN Cultural Team is required. Make sure to receive approval for all songs before starting practices and please pay attention to time limits.
- Program sequence will be available in the TSN Ugadi brochure on the event date. So all participants should be available at venue at event time.
- Any team miss the order will be given a chance to perform at the end of all the programs or TSN team decision is final.
