TSN UGADI Vedukalu 2024 Guidelines

Welcome to TSN UGADI Vedukalu 2024! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event, please follow these guidelines. TSN reserves the right to cancel or reject any registration that does not meet the requirements.

General Rules for Participation:

• All choreographers and participants must be TSN members by March 15, 2024. Membership is required to secure a program slot.
• Register for TSN Membership at: http://telugusamiti.org/membership

Age and Participation Requirements:

• Participants must be 6 years or older by April 20, 2024. Children aged 3 to 6 years can join a special fashion show.
• Each performance must have at least 4 participants. Solo singing, dancing, or instrumental performances are not allowed.

Song Selection:

• Song selection is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limit of 3 songs, one song should be from movies before 2010 per group.
• No duplicate songs are permitted. Groups can reserve one song, while medley groups can reserve up to three songs.
• Once registered, song choices cannot be changed. Please ensure your song is not already taken.

Time Limits:

• Performances are limited to 4 minutes, except for classical performances and skits/dramas, which can be up to 10 minutes.

Registration and Confirmation:

• Register your entry at the provided link in the email and check for already chosen songs.
• You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission and another for song confirmation within 24-48 hours. If you don’t receive this, email culturalsec@telugusamiti.org.

Entry Validation:

• Entries must be submitted through the official registration link provided in E-Mail. Changes in participants or songs must be communicated by March 25, 2024.

Performance Categories and Limits:

• Categories include classical performances, dance items, drama/skits, and group singing. Each performer can participate in up to two programs but only one per category.

Rehearsals and Program Sequence:

• A mandatory rehearsal will be held the day before the event. The sequence of performances, decided by the TSN Cultural Committee, will be based on age and category. Specific time slot requests cannot be accommodated.

Additional Information:

• Limited slots are available, especially for classical performances and skits. Entries are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Pre-approval of your performance item by the TSN Cultural Team is required.
